Cookies

Crumbs by the quay: cookies on Saltspar

Short answer: only the Google tag may set any.

Cookies

Saltspar does not set cookies of its own. It does load a Google tag (Google Ads, ID AW-18320742375) from Google, which may set or read cookies in your browser to measure visits and the performance of advertising. The tag loads when a page opens and the site shows no cookie banner, so there is no choice offered on the page itself. To avoid it, block googletagmanager.com or cookies from Google in your browser or with a content blocker, or adjust your settings at myadcenter.google.com; the guide works without it.

Local storage

The site does not write to your browser’s local storage or session storage either. The three questions on the hotel list and the tab strip work from the page in front of you and forget everything when you leave.

Outside services

Besides the Google tag, two outside services receive a request from your browser when you load pages: Google Fonts (for the typefaces) and the Hotelbeds photo servers (for hotel pictures). They see ordinary connection details such as your IP address. We do not control what they set or keep; see their own notices. Blocking either leaves the pages usable.

If you follow a link out to a hotel’s website or to OpenStreetMap, that site’s own cookie rules apply.
